I just wondered what special arrangements Iberostar hotels make over the Christmas and New Year period.

Are there Gala dinners in the buffet restaurants or is it business as usual with the a la cartes also open ?
Also do they have fireworks on new years eve ?

We are off to the Iberostar Paraiso resort in Mexico, but I'd imagine it's the same arrangement at Iberostars in the DR and Cuba, so any advice from people who've stayed over that period is appreciated, thanks.
