We got one the other year in Asda!!!!!!! Don't whether they still stock them -but they're in the hol section--------with the inflatable pillows etc.

Not heard of this before, must look out for one. How often have you asked a local what the temperature is and them not knowing!

Why not take a Gallileo thermometer - stand it on the beach and it will double as a sundial :idea:

I bought my digital thermometer over a year ago in Geneva and its a wonder. Reads indoor and outdoor temperatures, has a clock with date, records max and min temperatures until reset, and one can add a further three additional wireless sub-stations to it so that you can read the temperature in different parts of the house, garden etc.

Its a smallish square clock that does different things when you turn it 90 degrees. temp/alarm/countdown timer/ and clock and date
Always take it with me
