Hi,
We go to Benidorm 25th Oct. The clocks go back the that night in Uk . How does the time difference then work out in Spain.
Thanks Marg
The clocks go back here at the same time as the UK, Spain is always 1 hour ahead of UK time.
Thanks very much for your speedy answer. OH is frightened he might miss a meal in error
Spain is always 1 hour ahead of UK time.
Don't want to split hairs, but......
Not if you're going to the Canary Islands, which are part of Spain.
They follow the GMT time zone, the same as the UK, so at this moment, the time will be GMT+1 (21.09) the same as the UK.....mainland Spain and the Balearics are one hour ahead of the UK because they follow Central European time.
So you could fly from Alicante on CET to Tenerife (within Spanish territory) and on arriving at Tenerife you'd have to set your clock back an hour.

Thanks for pointing that out Sanji . Not sure of time differences in Canaries, Its been years since i have been to the Canaries.
That's answered another of my questions, thank you, an extra hour in the bar!
just to mess with your brains...spain will, for 1 hour, be on the same time as the uk as the clocks go back at 2am and Spain will get there an hour before the UK does, making it 1am same as the UK (till the UK gets to 2am then its an hour difference again)
All i am happy about is the extra hour in bed!

The UK on GMT change the clock back one hour at 2 am, local time.
Mainland Spain is on CET and being one hour ahead of GMT, changes the clock back at 3 am local time....so the clocks are never the same.
Any questions.?
