Yes it will getting dark around 6pm after the clocks go back on the 26th of this month then of course gradually earlier and earlier. By December 22nd it will dark just after 5pm then the days start getting longer again. On the plus side it will be light at 7am early in November then gradually getting later until the shortest day (21st December) when sunrise will be 0751 sunset 1718.
