My husband and I stayed at the Clubhotel Riu Negril in August 2005 and found it compared favourably with the other Riu resorts we had visited in the Caribbean. The resort is in a large bay and some may find the beach disappointing as it is fairly narrow and the water can be a bit murky, but we found it to be OK. Apparently the beach is better at the neighbouring hotel Riu Tropical Bay which is about a 20 minute walk. The rooms are in 4 large blocks to the left of the reception area, restaurants etc, and if you are not into long walks would suggest you request a room in block 1 or 2. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

Hi we are going to stay in Jamaica at the Riu Negril in Negril in august and were wondering what trips were on offer and which were the best fun! Also what the Hotel was like. Any feedback would be great thanks.
