we were there first 2 wks of july last year we had a really good holiday loved the hotel loved turkey as it was our first time, the rooms are really clean,we had a 2 bedroom not a bad size, the people in the hair salon are great really friendly it is also a tattooist they do feet nails hair cut throat shaves which my hubby had every other day (he has to shave twice a day at home). think you have made a good choice but when we were there it was really hot in july.

there is three pools not massive but adequate for the size of the hotel.

have a great hol 8)

hi john

we were in the julian last yr loved it not to loud and busy but enough going on

when you come out of the julian turn left this will take oyu to yes sir we had fab meal here bit like mixed grill but turkish style its served on a wooden board.
mad boys is just down fron there food ok but portions were small (ours were anyway) good entertainment .

there are lots of places to go
if you come out of julian go straight on right to the bottom turn left there is a chinese food ok but def not cheap.

my hubby had ea bass cooked in a domb of rock salt when the waiter bought it out it was flaming, they de bone and fillet it on to your plate if you dont want to do it, this was a place on the beach front but cant remember the name

enjoy ya hols dont think you will have trouble finding nice food.

We are staying in the club julian marmaris in september for a week, not sure what the armutalen area is like, is their bars, restaurants, nightlife surrounding the club julian and how far is the centre of marmaris from the armutalen area.

Hi and welcome to HT!

There are loads of restaurants near the Club Julian and they are cheaper than the ones at the front.

It's about a 15-20 mins walk to the centre of Marmaris, but we preferred the Armutalan area as it was a lot quieter and you could sleep at night away from the racket of the bars at the front.

I have merged your post with existing topics which have further information.

Club Julian is a lovely hotel and the bus stops just over the road and takes you down to the sea front in about 10 minutes.

Hi when I was there four years ago they used a Tom Watch which you pre-load with cash to be spent within the complex.

Hope this helps.

Hi, we've just returned from the best holiday ever!! Stayed at the Julian (excelent hotel). But the holiday was made for us by a guy called Jimmy who runs the Cheshire Rest/Bar which is just around the corner. The foods lovely and the drinks are mostly 2 for 1. eg, 2 pints of efes for 7 lira, 2 glasses white wine for 10 lira, cocktails 2 for 11 lira. I just wanted to recomend him to anyone planning a visit in that area this summer. Please, call in on him and tell him Carol, Tony, Emily and Matt said Hi!!
Thanks, Carol
