bod,
You may find members hotel reviews for the Club Julian Apartments, Marmaris useful.
Darren
The pools are lovely and kept very clean, plenty of sunbeds and the slides are only open for an hour twice a day.
The bars and restaurants around the hotel are good value and cheaper than the hotel. We would recomend the Cheshire Rest/ Bar, just round the corner from the julian. Jimmy, the owner is a star and the food and drink are good value ( drinks 2 for 1 all day and night).
Hope this helps, anyone want to ask anymore, just message me.

hi, 9 of us are booked to go to club julian from 11th sept for 2 weeks. we have booked 3 x 1 bedroomed apartments sc. i have twice emailed club julian to ask if we could have rooms next to each other and ones with large balconies as i have read that some are french balconies. i have had no reply to either of my emails. if anyone knows who i should be addressing it to or if i have the right email address please let me know. thanks. mandy
The weather was gorgeous, mid 30's every day. We only saw patchy cloud for a couple of hours on 2 mornings and even then it was still very warm.
Have a great time and please say hi to Jimmy for us if you go to the Cheshire. Im sooo jealous, cant wait to go back.

hi, we are staying at club julian from 11th sept for 2 weeks and we have a 10 yr old with us who likes her cereal for breakfast. does the shop at the hotel stock fresh milk like we have over here and wot would we look for? would be ideally the full fat sort. if we know the colour of the carton or whatever and what it says on it we will be fine for our tea and cereals. thanks. mandy

hi, can anyone tell me if there is an hairdryer in the apartments at club julian? thanks. mandy
Yes there were hairdryers in the rooms when we stopped there half board
any more info for above??
Booked to go to Club Julian on a HB basis on the 13th June 2011 for 7 nights. We have paid £605 for two people, including transfers with Thomas Cook, hopefully this is a good deal???
Is anyone able to clarify whether drinks are provided with breakfast and dinner or do you have to buy soft drinks during your meal, and also if this hotel is likely to be very busy during my stay??
Might add that this is the first time me and my partner have been to Turkey on our own, as adults. What kind of climate are we to expect, and also is the 1.5km walk from the hotel to Marmaris really that bad??
Thanks in advance!!!
Matt
Firstly welcome to HolidayTruths. Never stayed in Club Julian but visited it and it gets good reports on here. I wouldn't imagine you will get drinks with your meals. Julian is in not a bad location but you may have to jump on a dolmus to get right down onto the front. I think you've got yourself a good deal there at that price and you will get good weather in June probably ranging between 25 and 35. The resort will be really warming up by that time. Although you are half board you should try and eat out a couple of nights if this is possible and you have one of the best restaurants right next door to Julian being the Kervan (spelling ?) it's a Turkish restaurant with food to die for.
