Thanks a bunch Heather
Had managed to put Sunday to the back of my mind.Trembling again now but comfort myself with the thought that we are their bogey team. They couldn't beat us last season.Long may it continue.
P S they are not a bright red more a burgundy/wine colour,very tasteful.Great for illegal standing at O T.
Cheers.
Anyone looking for comfortable "Summer" shoes for that Xmas Holiday in the sun. The Shoe shop com website has some good ones in the sale. I just brought 2 pairs of flyflots and 2 pairs of hush puppies for £62.
Ps Don't tell the hubby only admitted to 2 pairs just got to make sure I catch the postman first
I am just going to shoeshop .com to look at flyflots. I have nothing but praise for this company, my son is in the army when he went to Iraq the army had no desert boots I bought him some American onesfrom shoeshop as they were selling them at cost price to our forces and they are much better quality than our lot supply !
I ordered the shoes at 10pm on wednesday. Hush puppies arrived Friday. Flyflots Saturday Brilliant
It is so difficult to get summer shoes in the shop after about August.
While on the subject of shoes has anyone done beach/safari in Kenya. It recommends strong footwear. We will be mostly travelling on a bus with a pop up roof and staying at lodges overnight . Do you think open sandals with straps or trainer type shoes will be needed
Definitely closed shoes such as trainers for an African safari and preferably old ones and old socks. The red safari dust gets everywhere and will ruin a new pair of trainers.
