Oh thankyou very much. That sounds okay.We are looking forward to going as we have only been to Tenerifeand although we enjoyed it ,we must have done weve been seven times ,we thought it was time for a change
Oh by the way is ir easy to get a taxi outside the airport?
I've never tried to get a taxi from outside the terminal as being a family of 5 we have to organise private transfer by minibus BUT everyone says it's really easy to get taxi's from outside the terminal so I shouldn't see any problems for you.
If you are arriving Friday/Saturday night you *might* find you'll have a wait as the airport gets very busy tho' but I doubt you'd be waiting too long!

Yes we do arrive Saturday night , still as you said shouldnt be to long a wait . Did think about prebooking transport but as its just me and my husband thought wed just as well get a taxi and the company we booking holiday with were asking 75 pounds for a return prebooked taxi which seemed a bit steep. Thankyou for helping me Tis

If you're pre-booked taxi is €75 for a round trip (there and back) it would be about the same if taxi would cost €30-35 there and €30-35 back. I guess it would give you peace of mind that there would be a taxi there for you but on the other hand I don't think you'd have a problem walking out and getting one from the rank unless they were exeptionally busy of course.
Have you tried Janerbus, Autocares Levante etc for a price for pre-booking - they might work out cheaper than thru' your holiday as you'll be paying a premium for them to book it - using Janerbus or Autocares Levante you book direct with the company and save on the middle man.
We use Janerbus and have had no cause for complaint ever with them. Just something to think about.

We travelled from Palma airport to Palma Nova with Janerbus last September and it was 60e return - had to pay the driver 40e going and the balance of 20e when picked up on return. Excellent service, drivers on time, polite and cabs clean and in good nick.
Thanks both of you . I might give them a try as you say at least then you have a guaranteed transfer as i think the flight gets in to palma at 21.50 so dont fancy hanging around too long .
You can contact Janerbus by email - bus@janerbus.com
They usually respond very quickly - I'd say if it's late evening when you're coming in, it's going to be nearing 11pm before you get out of the airport (I always say it takes about an hour to get thru' and get your luggage) so the last thing you want is to be waiting around for a taxi.
With Janerbus they give you a gate to meet at and their drivers are sat waiting with signs with your name on and take you straight to the transport even if you're delayed! If as jojo says the return transfer is €60 you're probably better booking in advance with them and then at least you know you can get straight into your taxi and go and you're not faffing around at the end of your holiday trying to locate a taxi as they'll turn up at pre-arranged time to take you.

Hi Tracey, Just wanted to say don't worry about having to hang around at Palma airport. Last year I travelled there by myself, landed at around 11pm, my boyfriend was half an hour late picking me up but I felt completely safe and it was the first time I'd travelled alone. Louise
Oh thankyou Louise thats nice to know. From what weve been hearing Majorca sounds areally nice place. We are really looking forward to going
taxis are a real quick getaway from the airport if there's a queue dont worry it never takes longer than 10 mins to get in a cab, its well organised, and the fares are like you've been quoted at around 35 euros
