Only you can make the decision whether what has been offered is acceptable to you.

If it is - accept it and sign.

If it isn't - don't accept and sign but you will find yourself pursuing the matter when you're back in the UK with perhaps not the same outcome or a better outcome but having to fight for it.

Really up to you. Money in your pocket now or say no and chance your luck with a claim when you get back to the UK. Only you can decide. Obviously the payment will be on the basis of full and final settlement of a possible claim.
Ask yourself this.

Whilst it is a bit of a pain has it really stopped you enjoying your holiday? Not really as you say you are having a good one. At least the rep is making an offer as the more usual complaint is they don't want to know.

There is no denying that if you say no then you will be into the long hard slog when you get back trying to recover some money with no absolute guarantee you will get anything.

If you do say no then make sure you complete an In Resort complaint form with the rep. Do one anyway even if you accept and complain when you get back - yes the rep did compensate you but really not the sort of thing you expect from such a big company. Never know they might give you some more.

Take the money and try it on is my view. £78.00 now is better than waiting six months to getthe same. And a lot less hassle.

Now go and enjoy spending it.

£78 equals £19.50 per night for the person who had to sleep on the campbed and is equivalent to saying that the price difference between the two rooms is that much per night or put another way £136.50 per week, £273 pounds for a fortnight.

Unless you can prove that the difference in price for the two rooms would exceed this then I don't think it's a rip off. Knowing how little the big TOs often pay the hotels for rooms in the first place then I think that this probably does sound like a pretty fair settlement and if it was me, I would just accept it and be done with it.

It does not sound as though this has ruined your holiday, an inconvenience of course - I personally would accept the payment it 'may' be the best that you will get.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday :cheers
