Thanks for the replies so far, I have one more question, I see one of you stayed in the swim up suites, I know they have a jacuzzi bath but do they also have a shower ?
I have looked at pictures and read all I can, but can't find this out.
All I ever use is the shower, so that would be important to me.
Thanks again.
Not sure what you mean by Annex. (OP) the suite we were in were called Junior ville suite but there were garden suite, which had no pool and no jacuzzi.
This page shows the accomodation, if you use the slider on the accomodation page you can see all the options.

All I can say is you will not be disappointed with this Hotel, ab fab. We have been twice, and are hoping to go again 2010, but as yet no luck, the prices have shot up, but I think you can still negotiate a bargain if you are willing to fly from a different airport.
The swim up villas are fantastic, and they are worth the extra money, the Hedera bar is open in the morning for breakfast, and doubles up at night as one of the a la cartes, (fantastic steaks) it is a quiet area, and you can chill on a sun lounger away from the main pool just for some "you "time, and at night when the gardens are lit up, it is stunning.
The main annexe, is equally fantastic, and if you e mail the hotel a week before you arrive, and ask are there any up grades available, you may get lucky........but with or without an upgrade, rooms are of a high standard, bathrooms fantastic, they supply dove shampoo, body wash, lotion etc: and it is replaced when needed.
One fantastic hotel, the staff are helpful, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is fantastic. Enjoy.
Hiya, The hotels in Belek are all like little villages within themselves, they all have the little bit of luxury element attached to them, this is because it is a remote area. and although you could walk along the beach, it will lead you no where as it is hotel after hotel......in saying this, you can get a taxi into Belek town, or during the day jump on the dolmus (about every 15 minutes) or wait for the litlle bumpy tractor which runs every half hour to take you into Belek. This is fun, but we found getting a taxi the easiest, agree the price first though, they will agree a return pick up point and time should you want to use a taxi back.
There are a few bars, cafe's and restaurants should you want a change, and there are lots of shops that sell the obligatory leather goods, T shirts, watches and the like, all the usual stuff and it is sometimes quite expensive. So haggle all the way.
Not a lot to see in Belek really, but do have a trip out, but as for walking.........MMMmmmmmmmmmmm

We worried about this before going and my husband did buy some long linen trousers but we saw lots of men in long smart shorts.
The sign outside the restaurant indicated no beach wear.
Have a great time, we are trying the cornelia diamond his year.
Many thanks for the reply.....Maybe one pair of light trousers..just in case, otherwise it seems decent shorts are acceptable.
Did you enjoy your stay there? How did you find the food and drinks, I believe there are some international drinks available?
I know someone who is going to the Cornelia Diamond in May...will let you know his thoughts on his return.

I'm going to the cornelia deluxe on June 24th.
My flight is not until 10pm at night, will I be able to eat at the hotel throughout the day? do you have to wear AI bands there? Does anyone know how much it will be to keep the room on for the day/evening?
Also, please can I ask what currency I should take. We will only need money to pay for tours/trips so want the cheapest way to pay. Looking for advice from somebody who has been and paid for trips so I can get best advice please. Please tell me where to book trips and any recommendations will be great. Dont want to miss anything out as only there a week (wish i was there for two now)
Do i change money here or there?
How much is airport tax? is it when you arrive or leave?
sorry for all the questions, its just getting close now and im panicking!!
Never been to Turkey before and i'm soooo excited.
Thank you so much,
Michelle xxxx

Does anyone know if we have to take our own towels? I have emailed the hotel direct twice once about 2 months ago and heard nothing back?
Pool/ beach towels are supplied, when you arrive you get a towel card each which you go to the towel hut by the main swimming pool and exchange for your towels.
Angie.
Woo Hoo, thanks Angie, more space in the suitcase for extra clothing
I have just returned from Cornelia Diamond and have previously stayed in the Cornelia Deluxe, so I should be able to answer your questions.
It would have cost 50% of daily room rate to keep your room on at the Cornelia Diamond. They do have a changing rooms in the spa which I used, this would be perfect apart from the fact that everyone else leaving that day is doing the same thing.
As far as currency goes I would recommend taking some of each but mostly euros. Its best to pay in the currency that the trip/etc is advertised in otherwise you miss out in the conversion. They pay £1 to 1€ for ease, and 2TLR to 1€.
There were no cash points at the Deluxe when we stayed there in 2008 but we found one in Belek. You can pick up a tractor bus from outside the hotel which will take you into Belek for a few euros. (Markets on Saturday)
For trips we used a travel company that we came across while in Kadriye, there is a market there on a Tuesday, they did a great trip to Antalya, visiting the Duden Waterfalls first and then free time in Antalya with a lunch thrown in for €8. Othere trips where bit more €20 - €35 but may well have been negotiable.
One place not to miss is Aspendos, we visited during the day but I believe they have a show there at night. A sort of riverdance with Fire called Fire of Antolia.
Hope you have a great time, you will love the Cornelia!

We are going to the Cornelia Deluxe on the 7th Sept 2010 for 2 weeks
we will be celebrating our 30th anniversary
would it be "rude" of me to either email or ring the hotel asking if they had a "free" room upgrade
grateful for any advice
One other thing my grand daughter will be going with us,she is 7 months old so still on "formula" milk,we plan on taking a kettle and buying bottled water to make up bottles
has anybody had first hand experience please on making up bottles at the hotel ie is the boiled water at the hotel "safe" to make up bottles
Thanks
John
I have tried emailing several times, each time with no reply, so I would ring them rather.
Joy
Hi Joy
any recommendations about the hotel and area would be greatly appreciated.
We are looking forward to our visit next month - many thanks - Suzie x
You will not be disappointed. Top quality AI.
Tried both the swim up rooms and the Garden annexe. All good.
It is always nice to read a good review - especially after the hol is booked!
Any tips, please. x
I am going to the Cornelia on the 4th of April, would be good to see another Brit out there as i'm travelling alone.
(i'll be the one proping up the bar!)
