I am thinking of going to Costa Brava area in early february, are any of the resorts stillopen at that time or is everything closed for the winter

callela and lloret are both working towns rather than just tourist places so would expect both to have shops and bars open, but not necessarily the tourist bars/clubs as they tend to close in jan/feb.

I stopped in the H. TOP AMAIKA in Calella in December last year, and February, this year, and most of the shops, and many of the bars were still open. And as a bonus, it was warm enough to go in the sea in February.
