A two course meal with a drink costs less than £10 for two! Also worth some shopping- we brought back a load of things. Best buy I thought was silver.

We budget on $AU100 a day (approx 40 pounds) I'm not a big shopper and don't do tours anymore as we have been so many times... these days it's all about R & R. You will need a bit more if you plan to do tours. Have a great time on the Isle of Smiles

We're off back to KL forst for a few days then we're going to stay in Sanur at Sri Phala- a small place- only 12 rooms but very nice. We don't do the big chain/resort hotels.

I'm off to KL and Sanur in August. Sanur is a small resort compared to the others in Bali but we really liked it. We had meant to visit Kuta one evening but never got round to it. Bali is absolutely beautiful. There are so many stunning views that you would never get anywhere with a guide and car without having to stop every few minutes!
