At a meeting with the British High Commission in Panjim last Monday, the Commissioner announced that the BHC had meetings with a Mr. Pillai who will look into the issue of visas for people with property / businesses in India - it seems that it was notionally accepted that if Indian nationals can enjoy use of property legally purchased in UK then same should apply to UK nationals in India, therefore X visas should be available to foreign persons who have legally purchased property in India, Here's hoping this comes to fruition.
