Hi everyone
My wife Maggie and I are in the early stages of planning an extended campervan holiday to the UK and Europe.
At this stage our plans are to fly into Germany at the end of winter. In Germany we will buy a reasonable campervan and from there set off on our travels.
We would hope to use free and low cost camping sites as much as we can.
Our time frame would be until early the following winter before selling the campervan and returning to Australia.
I know there are a lot of folk from Europe who have visited Australia and done this same thing so hoping there are people out there who can give us much practical advice on how we should be planning and what we need to know.
Looking forward to hearing from you all.
Regards
Derek & Maggie
Sure you'll have a great time, lots of cheap and cheerful options available, especially in France
particularly if you like wine
