you ask of Peter's experiences of Bulgaria,
I didn't ask actually.
However, I have no doubt that Peter and his good lady have a very good knowledge of Bulgaria's way of life having been there 25+ times.
That is not the issue here really.
The thing that prompted me to post on this thread in the first place was the fact that Peter openly dismissed something that another poster stated as laughable merely because it came from a taxi driver.
So, I ask again... are all taxi drivers liars? would they really be so stupid as to deter the very people who provide them with a good living through the summer (in SB they have other jobs out of season, in fact I have spoken to one who was a supply teacher of maths and IT - who, ironically can earn more as a taxi driver).
I have no desire to insult anyone, or dismiss what they say, and I feel that as adults with differing experiences of Bulgaria, we should be able to share our diverse views and opinions without being made to feel inferior because of what we chose to do for a living.
Finally.... I commend musomike for sharing his experiences and giving those of us who have an open minded view on this ever changing world in which we live, the benefit of a little more knowledge of places where we may be inadvertently putting ourselves into danger.
