That makes three of us, i'm flying out this saturday and stopping in coral bay for a week, and the forecasts don't look very promising over the weekend 90% chance of rain for the saturday night we arrive
Ah well looking forward to some good cypriot food!! and plenty of cocktails! and well you can't complain it's got to beat being at work!

Looks like there could be a bit of rain around sat/sun/mon which is a pain considering we fly out on sunday , but after that it looks like plain sailing with sunny skies and temps in the 80's

The Sea - Stormy..

We are just back, out in Protaras 10-17th.

Glorius weather for the whole week, Not one drop of rain, glorious skies all week. Sea like a mirror.

Absolutely fab.

Wind did change direction on last day and came in off the sea, but still not cold.

Well were off on Wednesday going to Pernera ! rented a villa lets hope things get better before then but cant blame the weather seeing as its October!

i've got the holiday blues now, missing the glorious sun and the zodiac.
got a sniffle of a cold (man flu ) looking back it didn't half go quick! need 3 weeks next year

Ah well, we had fun while its lasted, and supose it wouldn't be a holiday if it lasted forever aye righty ho Trev.

We were in Zodiac a couple of times, nice atmosphere once again.

Protaras was fantastic for us once again......just dont think I can persuade family to go there for Summer holidays..just too hot for them.

I crossed the road from Bells to Zodiac a couple of times when I was there last week but only for one pint each time so that I could say hello and goodbye to Nat and Lucy who are friends of mine.

Even they thought I would get withdrawal symptoms for leaving Bells to see them lol.

I also saw them in Boogies a few times.

Well, having flown home last wednesday im already missing Cyprus so much!

I still cant get over the weather being even better than last year. Apart from four days of rediculous gail force winds. Even this wasnt enough to stop us sunbathing though. Its just a case of facing the back of the sunbed into the wind and hunker down a bit .

Going back was like putting on an old pair of slippers. All the people we got to know last year remembered us. Im not sure if thats a good or bad sign but i liked it anyway.

My Girlfriend and I did notice a distinct drop in the atmosphere in the Bells after our first week though, and i noticed some places closing down unusually early.

Cardifflad - Are you the same Cardifflad that posted pics of Georges birthday on the bells forum? My girlfriend and i went into Ayia Napa with him and his friends that night. We had a cracking time! We spent nearly every night in the Bells too.

We returned home on Sunday evening after spending 2 weeks in pernera, all i can say is that the weather was fanatstic, 2 whole weeks of sunshine and daytime tempratures reaching 27-31c (81-88f) on all but 2 days when it was a bit windy and only reached 25c(77f) , the locals told us that it was the best october for 4 or 5 years so we were lucky, but it normally reaches 25-27 most days anyway apparently most octobers, which is great for us northern europeans anyway.
Can't wait for next year

Yes this October is a big change on last year when we had awful storms here, you can never say it will always be this nice here in October/November...but we do need some rain very badly, if we don't I can see severe water shortage next year, we are already having water cuts..daily!! and it is November.

Locally they are already talking of building desalination plants here..

Got back on wednesday weather was lovley untill the day before we went home it rained but it is october cant complain! !
