Has anyone else looked at winter 2009 - 2010,I haven't yet gone this year 12 days to go but thought I would look for next year.I have a 13 year old daughter so do not wish to take her out of school,hence going in February half term.When I looked at the Portland website it appears there are no Saturday flights only Sunday,this is also the case with Thomas Cook.At first I thought okay, then realised the flights did not arrive back in this country until early hours Monday, by the time you clear baggage and drive home I would not anticipate getting home before 4am,having to take my daughter out of school anyway even if only for one day.The prices do not reflect this and are still £150 pounds higher than the previous week.

looked again and flights are now earlier in the day.may book after all.
(Did send an e-mail to TUI chief executive complaining,but doubt that has anything to do with it)

I booked my parents flights from Manchester with Easy Jet as soon as they launched their Winter programme.
My parents fly out on 8 Nov 09 until 4 Dec 09 and we got the cost at 243 Gbp for both of them.
I've just picked up an absolute steal of a bargain on Thomson website of accommodation for the 26 nights on BB in a studio at Atlantica Gardens in Limassol.
My parents come out for approx 4wks each year at this time and this is the cheapest so far!
Last year, we booked them into the Golden Arches hotel (opposite the Mediterranean Beach hotel) and although the hotel was basic, it was clean and the food was good. We ate there on a couple of evenings with them....
They paid 600 Gbp for 4 weeks on half board last year (roughly the same dates) but this year, it seems the hotel will not open past the end of November, which is disappointing. I phoned the hotel today and the gentleman I spoke with says they will come to a decision sometime this next week on how far into November they will open. Unfortunately, that wasn't much use to me or my parents! So, I just did a quick recce on the Thomson site and could not believe that price. It's less than 10 Gbp per person per night for accommodation and breakfast.
