Both offices are happy to send out info on the areas you will be visiting. Both sent booklets about the area and the history and both sent maps, when asked. The Turkish maps are especially useful. I received a very impressive and useful one on Istanbul and a map of the whole country, on which you can see the route the Opera will take through the Sea of Marmaris, past historic places such as Troy.
