There are lots of trips to do with the reps. Most of them though can be done by yourself and works out much cheaper. Here are a few of what i remember
Barcelona, there are a few to choose from.. football stadium, zoo, shopping, gaudi tours
there are waterpark trips (very east to get to yourself)
port aventura trips (also very easy to get to)
market trips
boats
reps nights
and more but cant really remember

Also going to Salou for the first time in August. Must do the Barcelona trip though.

Not too sure where you can do the swim, it might be at Aqualion safari park?? but it depends when you go, i dont think it opens til june.
there is a website where you can check it out.

At the waterpark in La Pineda (along from salou) you can watch the sea lions and dolphins but i have only ever seen just one person, usually a spanish child picked out of the audience to go in the pool.

Swimming with sealions is at Aquapolis water park La Pineda my son did it last year and really enjoyed it.

Ahh right it must be something they have recently started as i have never seen it done before there.

So, with Aquapolis, Aqualeon and the one attched to Port Aventura, there are three water parks close to Salou? Are they all easy to get to and which are best for adults? Thanks.

With all the water/theme parks and Barcelona close by, Salou is looking and excellent destination for me!

You can swim with the sealions in the aquapolis water park in la pineda its about a 20 minute bus ride from salou. Kids loved it

Could you rank the three parks for me and their suitabilty for adults? Thanks.

Can anyone advise if a trip to Barcelona is worth it if you don't want to go to the football ground or the zoo?

I spend 40 weeks a year visiting football ground, leaving the issus at home so don't think she would appreciate it on holiday.

What else is there to do in Barca as I have got a 8 and 11 year old with me?

People holidaying at Salou and wanting to visit Barcelona, which is definitely one of the world's most amazing cities, should be aware that there are two different day trips. One leaves early morning, takes in the fooball stadium, the Ramblas,Gaudi's amazing church, Mont Juic and the Spanish Village. The other leaves later in the day and takes in the football stadium and the Ramblas and harbour, but then after dark goes to the illuminated fountain display. The large fountain dances and changes colour to both modern and classical music for a show lasting about an hour. Both trips are worth going on, I wouldn't like to choose one above the other.
One word of caution, on the early trip the guide suggested we go for lunch in the restaurant at the top of El Corte Ingles. We spent so much time queuing there we had little time left for Las Ramblas. Better to wander down Ramblas and find a nice cafe there instead. I suspect the guides get a kick back from El Corte for plugging it, but it's far from the best option.
