we are going to siblu in st jean de monts in may. Having never been here before we would love to know if anyone has any good ideas for places to visit ? Preferably cheap days out, bearing in mind that the euro exchange rate is terrible and the fact that like most people we dont have as much spare money for spending money this year !!!!!!!!!!!!

The beach is really cheap!! We were therefor a week in 2007 and managed to go nowhere

Might I suggest you look at the Tourist Office website of St Jean de Monts which should show local attractions, and usually translated into English. If there is nothing, there will be a contact email address and you can write in English asking to receive documentation about local sights. They should be in touch with you relatively quickly by post.
