Decisions, Decisions !! Lagoa Azul or Marinha Dourada

Well
I've spent the last couple of days glued to this board and countless searches on tour operator web sites , My eyes are killing me

The 2 hotels I like the look of are the Lagoa Azul or Marinha Dourada. Both are available for a very good price from Thomas cook. I would have preferred First Choice but their prices were and extra £450 for the 4 of us. ( I've only got little legs so legrooms not an issue

)

I've read all the reports and just need to make that final decision between the hotels. I'm veering towards the Lagoa at the moment but only because I will save myself £200 against the Marinha.

Any help for my tired old brain would be most welcome.

No competition there then Marinha Dourada every time - I have stayed at both, and the MD will get my vote every time

We had five years at the MD. Went to see the LA when it first opened even though it was much cheaper there was no comparison with the setting of the MD and we opted to return to the MD.

I am with you on this one GG, no contest when it comes to which one i would pick, but you should warn him about the people who stay in the room on the corner nearest to the bar, :rofl

OK, OK, An overwhelming vote for the MD. so not being one to go against popular opinion I've gone and done it.

I've booked a cracking deal with Thomas Cook.

Machete's, Coconuts ?? Maybe I shouldn't ask

We go for the 1st 2 weeks of April, Hot and Humid I know but had to be those weeks. I'm sure we'll have a great time just the eternal wait now

have not actually been inside the MD, but the poolside of the azul is very poor, the parasols and sunbeds are a disgrace and even after complaining etc, no change so I would go for the MD, we are thinking of there in December.
:shock:
