Hi, we are enjoying the sunshine inSal,Cape Verde and should have flown home yesterday but the flight did not leave Manchester so we have enjoyed an extra night. We booked independently and the local Thomson rep is trying hard but still unable to tell us if our delayed flight will leave tonight. Can't see any arrivals expected into Sal today so do we prepare for another night?
Just wondering if anyone might be able to shed any light?

Thanks for replying. We did fly out at 8.30 last night, after a 27 hour delay.

You are lucky - must have been put on a plane intended for another return destination. Wouldn't be happy if I was flying out from Manchester now tho',didn't arrive until 14:40 local -presumably they have lost 2 days of their holiday -not much fun ,particularly if you are only going for a week
