there was some information posted on Tripadvisor last July about a Dialysis unit in Alcudia? Have you considered Alcudia? The trip to the Dialysis unit would be shorter than Cala Bona to Manacor.
The person who posted the information said that their Renal unit in England arranged everything for them and they spoke very highly of the Dialysis Centre and their treatment.

Think youre wrong there carolamy, Cala Bona to Manacor 14 miles, Cala Bona to Alcudia 31 miles, as per Auto Route.

I agree with barnio Manacor is definitely closer then Alcudia

if I'm reading carol's post correctly, I think she's asking if the original poster had considered holidaying in alcudia as there's a dialysis unit there so she wouldn't have far to travel.

yes Shirley that is what I meant? I was just suggesting another resort to consider with a Dialysis unit closer to their resort.

My brother in law's mother used the dialysis unit in Manacor about 2/3 summers ago and spoke very highly of the treatment that his mother received. I think they were there for a week and she was driven there on the Mon/Weds & Friday. I think they have a lot of English and German dialysis patients and it is only a short drive from Cala Bona.
