Unfortunately I think you will find all the hotels hike thier prices considerably during peak season. The Caribe in Es Cana is charging 3x what we paid during may half term for all of August !
Are you a family or couple and what is your age group?Do you like lots of entertainment or prefer to make your own?
Playa Den Bossa is only a short taxi ride, lovely beach, lively pubs ,Space and Bora Bora.Put a few more details and you will probably get some suggestions, hope this helps.
What about Fiesta Toni don/club Hotel this is in Playa den bossa (Only about 10 mins from airport if that) - It's gearing up for the kids, - so they wont be bored!
i find that thompson hotel only has some good deals. mo.
After just coming back from Ibiza and talking to the receptionist of our apartments about private rentals, she was telling us that guests that have booked privately rather than through a tour operator have paid more because of exchange rate. So not always the cheaper option.
Thought about using Travel Republic or Thomsons for the hotel. Can't decide which resort . Narrowed it down to Es Cana, Santa Eulalia or Playa d'en Bossa. Looked at the hotel Fiesta Don Toni PdB but I understand it's on the flight path . We would like some lively bars and something for the kids so they are not moaning that they are bored.
flight path you get used to it.its near airport thats why.but 1000s of people stay in that area.lots to do all day and night.your in fiestaland sports complex.biggest complex outside spain..water park on your doorstep.longest beach on the island.plam beach would suit you better i thing same area but a superfamily hols hotel.but any fiesta hotels food is 1st class.like i say loads for you family to do.in hotel and resort..
what date you looking at.i say date and not just month.how long as well.and where would you fly from
i would suggest the caribe or miami in es cana,or club siesta in santa eulalia. mo.
Palm Beach Club, Bahamas, Fiesta Don Toni. They all get good reviews but if anyone has stayed at any of them, any comments would be great.
Forgot to say, we can fly from East Mids, Doncaster, Manchester or Birmingham.

see where it says jet thats the really start of pdb.but loads of shops well before that now.i have now stayed in pdb for the past 11 years so i know it well.ok i have stayed in other places but i go 3/4 times a year.
We have stayed in Bahamas hotel 4 times, last time 23rd MAY 2008.The weather was not too good but the holiday was as good as always. The pool there is huge, lot of sun beds,we always ask for ground floor room in block 6000,room 6009 is the best,my friend always has that one,she has been 9 times,we usually get room near hers. These rooms have a wardrobe dividing twin beds from sofa beds, giving just a little privacy, sunbeds just outside door so you can run out in the morning to claim your beds if it is busy,we've never been in august,no aircon, just a fan over twin beds, there are shutters on the window and door so it seems quite cool. You can pay at reception for all inclusive upgrade or just drinks but I don't think that is advertised, really good value.Aircraft noise doesn't really bother you after a day or so.If you want any more info just ask.
Hi all. Thanks for your replies. Will let you know which hotel we decide on.
