Hi Kaza,
we go to Hisaronu a couple of times a year, we have 3 children, 2 girls 8 & 12 and a boy of 12 and all they go on about is the Fez bar !! we are not allowed to go anywhere else and it is our first port of call when we get there. The staff are great with the kids and they have a small garden out the back and a pool table and they hang out with the other kids that are there. Try it, I'm sure they will love it.
How much does it cost roughly for a main meal in the evening and how much is your average drink (beer) (whisky & coke)
I would also be interested if anyone knows about prices for trips to ephuses and how long it takes to get there, I believe this is an overnight trip with pamukale included.
Also any information at all on prices for boat trips etc would be very much appreciated.
Hubby and I have not been to turkey for a long long time (17 years I think) so I do realise we will be surprised by the changes in turkey.
Many Thanks

I've stayed at the Telmessos twice and am going back this October to arrange my wedding there next May.
So if anyone is booking the Telmessos for around 5th May 2007 - I'm the one in the big ivory dress!
We got back from Olu last night (first time in this region) Absolutely loved it. It was small, friendly but an easy dolmus ride to Hisonaru which was buzzing - a bit too much for us to want to stay there but a great place to visit. We were hoping to go back in October but daughter crashed the car while we were away so there goes the Half Term break but she's OK and that's all that matters We'll get back next summer and can't wait.
Me and my family are visiting Hisaronu on Tuesday can anybody tell us about it? what is the weather like etc? we are stayin in the Orka Villas what are they like?
I'm confident you will love Hisaronu (I'm booked for going back twice so far!)
Have a look at my thread here for more info: http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=99524
http://www.hisaronu.co.uk. It is a whole site dedicated to the resort, and there is also a forum plus reviews, photos etc.
you should have a great time with good weather and plenty to do and eat
treat yourselves to some of the great trips on offer at all local travel agents/ tour agents in the village, for those of you who haven't been since last year there are a few changes the monday market has moved across the road and is now paved also there is a new shopping mall where the ata hotel used to be and also a migros super market more restaurants and a few new bars but still the place to be
hope you all enjoy your holidays and book early for next year and get a deal
Anyone know where abouts the Saray hotel / aprts are in Hisaronu?
We have just booked but can't find them on any maps!
Cheers

they are up the top part of the village more ovacik area 150mts from the main rounderbout
Eh? I though they were down from the main street, facing the ash football pitch.
you are quite correct im thinking of the syria apartments so sorry my mistake
My friend is going to the either Hisaronu or Ovacik on an AOA all inclusive with Thomas Cook on Monday. The agent told her is was a quiet resort!Hisaronu wasnt quiet when we visited from Olu Deniz 2 years ago.
hisaronu is not a quite resort anymore it is the main tourist point with loads of restaurants and bars and lots of shops
Hi, we go in two weeks, can anyone give me an idea of prices for meal - for family of 4 - in £'s. We are just deliberating in how much to take. Thanks.
There is a topic somewhere knocking around that dicusses about " how much to take "
However i will try to give you some idea, a simple kebab will cost between £1.5op and £ 2.7op, chips are about £1.oop omelettes from about £ 1.50. Fish and chips are about £ 6.50
So from a simple meal of around £ 3.50 or so after that chicken meals run at about £6.oop, Steak is anything from £ 7.50 upwards, then drinks on top of that, you could well be looking at at between £ 15.oo and £ 20.oo per meal.
There are two of us that normally go and i go through about £ 50.oop a day, but that's everything, meals, drinks ( lots of drinks ) trips and excursions.
Hope this helps.
Kev
