Have you ever wondered how they paint the outside of the buidings in Benidorm.?...or does it never cross your mind.?
Good Lord, it made me dizzy filming them, and what about Health & Safety rules.?....one takes his hard hat off ...mind you, it wouldn't do much good from that height and I can't see anything falling on his head.
Could you do this for a living.?
Enjoy.!

PS: The playback is not as good as the video's uploaded directly to HT and the sun was shinning in the camcorder lens, so there's a bit of reflection.

You must have to have a lot of guts to do a job like that, it's to be hoped that it pays well.

Dunno...it was a warm day.
You must have to have a lot of guts to do a job like that,
Well if you haven't, you'll definately drop your guts in your pants when your feet next touch the floor.

Brave men!! Hope they never missed any bits!!
Oh my god, it's brought on me vertigo. I'm hyperventilating.....................
The rig they are working on is called a Bosuns Chair which stems from the old sailing ships when rigging needed repairs or work needed on the masts.
We used to use them on old buildings at the University for repairs to clock towers and the like.
The main rope was lashed right over the roof and down the opposite side of the building and secured on a large metal spike driven into the ground.
One day the spike bent and moved slightly and the guy on the other end dropped about 2 feet. They said you could still hear him screaming half an hour later has they lowered him to the ground.
