The only Algarvian veggie dish i can think of right now is "Gaspacho" - a very tasty, cold soup with bread crumbs.
If you're interested, there's a great vegetarian restaurant in Loule, with lovely food, called "os Tibetanos".
thanx for that alvaro i will see if i can find the place thanx
If you eat fish you will be fine as fish is plentiful in the Algarve. If you don't then you might find it a little difficult. It depends where you are staying as most places will have an Italian or a good pizzeria where you should have no problem. Vilamoura has both.
unfortunatly i dont eat fish pippa so i will keep my fingers crossed that i can find a good pizza place in albufiera thanx for your help
As you are in Albufeira then I don't think you will have too much of a problem. There are loads of restaurants in both the old town and 'the strip' - you should be able to find something to suit you. If all else fails there used to be a pizza hut there!!!
lol a pizza hut sounds like a home from home cant wait to go
If you order a salad make sure that it doesn't contain tuna. for some reason tuna is sometimes not seen as a fish
thanx for that brodev i will make sure i ask as i dont eat fish either that could of been a nasty surprise lol
