I use them as well even though I sometimes book on-line or over the phone. I like the fact that all the terms and conditions are clearly printed in the back of a brochure sometimes they are hard to see and obsorbe on line.
Also find it easier to flick back and forth between pages to do comparisons on accommodation, rather than scroll up and down or back on forth on a screen.
I think some complaints come from when people book on-line and dont look at things properly, like exactly what is covered and what isn't covered in their AI package.

When I used to work, myself and a collegue would spend many a lunch time browsing through holiday brochures deciding where our next holiday was going to be, we even had a little storage space for all our brochures....
Accommodation with lilos and crocodiles floating in the pool were a no no
I pick up the occaisional brochure now, mostly use the internet. I do get the odd one or two brochures arriving via the post, I still like looking through them when having a cuppa.
