.....if its true that the weather in Alcudia has reached almost 100 degrees over the weekend????

I had a friend who was out there last week, and flew home on saturday - she said that when she left it was in the mid - high 90's!!!

Is she winding me up as she knows im going out on thursday, and I love the hot weather???

I have kept an eye out online for the weather, but i dont know how accurate it is.

I wanna know if I am being had here!! ((or if she doesnt know how the temperature works))

It's been warm here last week or so, but not quite that warm !!! Perhaps high 70's or low 80's.

how hot is it? in majorca

Sometimes we take notice of the temperatures on the digital displays above pharmacies in Spain,however they are not always accurate,a prime example is when we were in Cala Millor two days ago the temperature read 42degrees celcius,and it was only about 23 at that time.
so perhaps thats where they get the 100degrees fahrenheight from.
thats not to say we had some hot weather,just not quite that hot.

The weather forcasts at the moment from the 24th May - which just happens to be when 'm going - are showing thunderstomrs and showers for the first 4 days of my holiday !

On the intellicast website - hope they're wrong but I suppose there is still time for it to change. I notice on the puerto pollensa site it is givng more favourable wether with the sun coming out on Friday.

Just had a weather update from my mum and dad who are in Cala Millor at the present time - today has been overcast but still warm enough for shorts and tshirt. Tomorrow and Wednesday the local forecast is for rain/thunder storms with sunny spells but should be getting better by the end of the week.

My mum text me again this afternoon to say that it was "hot, hot, hot" and that they were sat on the beach and had even been in the sea for a swim. Said that the sea was still a bit rough from the earlier storm but "lovely". Looks to be staying nice for a bit now.

Wish I was there.
