We're off to the Donna Sylvia hotel on the 21st.
Our first time in Goa.
Could anybody tell us if there is a dress code in the restaurant?
What is the voltage & is it 2 or 3 pin plugs?
Does my wife need to take a hairdrier, or is there one provided?
Thanks.
Hi there, not alot of the hotels provide hairdriers in the hotel rooms but they may well have them at the reception for you to borrow or hire, i didn't take mine this time as i emailed the hotel (Phoenix Park) prior to arriving and asked them the question, they said not a problem as i could borrow one from reception, so if possible you could always email your hotel.
Dress code is relaxed, although maybe that was just me.... I don't think many places frown no matter what you wear, although bikini's with your cleavage hanging out might be a bit much, Dona Sylvia also get it's fair share of Indian guests who might not be used to the sight of skin....
Dress is relaxed but really anything goes some people dress up some down but you will have a wonderul time we are also going on te 21st from Manchester. Dona sylvia is a great hotel food is great even though we eat out most of the time. Enjoy
we are going for the 1st time on 21st march and have been told no dress code but take local people and others into account , i.e. dress modest /casual esp in the streets , hotel is not so bad
We were there over christmas, lovely hotel. I beleive they ask that swimwear is not worn in the resturant other than that informal.
