I am 70km north of barcelona in Lloret de mar, we have not had rain for a while, but have not heard anything about water shortages, and anyway it looks like it is about to pour any moment, the skies are black!
yes I've just read this, we're not going til August and am imagining no showers, no full pool, so was pleased to here the person in Barcelona wasn't having a problem. Do we get any refund if there is no swimming pool I wonder?
It is the strangest thing because in the UK all it does is rain for the best part of the year, but the moment there is a dry spell, hosepipes are banned etc, etc- yet here it seldom rains but in the 24 years I have lived here I do not recall a ban on any water usage- maybe the brits should come and have a look at the spanish resevoir systems
No drought this morning. Heavy rain in Santa Suzanna and along the coast.
