I have recently returned home after a winter away to find that the hotel behind us has been taken over by a UK holiday company who insist on the guests making as much noise as they can whilst playing outdoor games. It's ok for them but is driving me nuts as I can't sit outside to read and my computer is in their line of fire.
I need some ear plugs that work - have tried the sponge ones which might as well not be there then some wax ones a friend brought from Boots in the UK. Anybody had any that really work that will drown out this noise. Thanks.
I find cotton wool is the best and isn't uncomfortable when lying on your side.
Another I use is E.A.R Earsoft - again really easy to use and very comfortable.
It's a bit of a fine art getting them to fit properly at first. You have to roll them between your finger and thumb (make sure your hands are clean) and push them into the ear. When you get it right you can hear them expanding! I find them comfortable to sleep in.
I couldn't get on with the silicone reusable ones so stuck to the shaped foam ones. I get mine off ebay. Hope that helps!
