We'll also be in Beni around the same time. When you ask about events, do you mean special events e.g. parades and celebrations for Easter or do you mean shows etc that are on during your stay there?

There will be various parades and religious festivities. Not sure if it has been published yet, but a copy of the festivities programme will be available from Benidorm Tourism if you would like to email them at benidorm@touristinfo.net

Sorry if I confused you. I know that the website hasn't been updated, and I was suggesting that you email them. However, the programme may not be available yet for email distribution either, but I'm sure they will send it on to you when it is. Their normally very efficient website is surprisngly out of date on lots of issues at the moment.

have now had a reply from the tourist info office saying that The Holy Easter will take place from the 8th till the 12th of April and there will be religious processions on the main days but they do not have the programme yet. Normally they get it a one week before.

am looking foreward to watching!!!
