Hi,
Has anyone had trouble booking flights with e bookers using nectar points? I have twice booked flights using nectar points and although I get an e mail telling me that they have received the booking and within 24 hours I will get another e mail confirming the flights, on both occasions I have not had the confirmation e mail. When you phone they don't seem to know the reason just make me go through the whole rigmarole again, meanwhile the flight is obviously selling and I will end up with no seats. I am not impressed either with Nectar or with e bookers and wonder if anyone else has had similar problems or have I just been unlucky??
I didn't have exactly the same problem as you, but last year tried to use approx 30,000 points to book a weekend trip to Venice. I was quoted over £400 for 2 flights + approx 28,000 points (can't remember exact amounts now). At the same time as I was on the phone to Ebookers I was doing exactly the same search on Ebookers website,(which took a fraction of the time that the Ebookers agent I was talking to took), and the price was less than £300 with no nectar points. He didn't seem to understand my surprise at the results either!
