Hi,
I don't know if you can book b&b at the Eden. We were there a few years ago and it was all self catering! However the breakfasts from the pool bar were great, proper english breakfast including chips!! reasonably priced too.

Has anyone recently stayed at the Eden Apartments, if so what was it like and can anyone recommend a room number. Preferable a 1st floor room.

They still had kids clubs, playgrounds etc thou.
Nice place to stay but the apartments need a face lift.
Friendly staff and my son loved the kids club.
hi, the eden has not been superfamily since the end of the summer 05 season however it does still have kidzone (the thomson kids club) but there is a difference to superfamily and accomodations that have kidzone for example theres no drop in or there may only be 5 clubs a week they only have to do 1 mini disco etc but the kid reps up there this year are good fun.
Could anyone please tell me if the pool at these apartments is heated in winter
the folk quote 45€ for breakfast can someone tell me is that for 1 or 2 weeks ??
and for how many meals ??
Its freezing but once you get in its not so bad i do think they might heat and i use the word heat loosley one end as one end seemed slighty warmer than the other.
I am told this is pretty standard for whats described as a heated pool thou.
Cant remember about the brekkies sorry, we just bought one in the pool bar and paid if we wanted it but most days we just went to netto and got fresh bread and had it on the balcony.
The brekkie in the pool bar was ok but i wouldnt have wanted it daily there is nicer avavilable in the europa centre....jokis is nice for brekkies as is flicks.
Planning on going back next year around the same time

Insects - Ants in the garden only saw 3 of those other things but not in the apartments
I've put a review on the hotel page and pictures here my photobucket page for Eden
hi if any one has information on these are they good for families or would any other place be better?
Fantastic place for Families it is VERY family orientated complete with Thomson kids clubs every day and entertainment EVERY night for kids and adults
TOTALLY recommend the BBQ on Sundays well worth the money for a good feast
Watch out for Happy hour 4-5 pm the drinks measures are HUGE especially if you ask for no ice
Our daughter is off back there with her daughter in May and we are looking for a short break either December or New Year
Oh Yes
you will like Big Gazza and Sheryl
and watch out for Santiago behind the bar
They are miles cheaper than Thomson but as i thought this was a Thomson only complex im a little confused can we still use the kids clubs?
Tried ringing TR to ask but they werent sure, great help EH!
Thanks in Advance
Vicky
By "Thomson Only" they probably mean that they are contracted to TUI only to provide rooms on a package holiday basis. However, that will not stop the hotel selling rooms as "room only" direct or through an agent (such as TR or Medhotel etc). As TR are only acting as an agent to sell the room (and maybe HB) then I am not surprised that TR will not necessarily know about kids clubs etc. Your best bet is to contact the hotel direct.
Thomson have the eden on a "committed" basis, namely that Thomson have paid for x number of rooms for each season (this is often where late deals end up) But, the Eden holds a number of apartments for private use and depending on the contract with thomson can use these anyway they deem fit inc allowing other companies to sell them. Howver since the Kids Club is run by Thomson using Thomson staff it is very, very unlikely that you would be permitted to use it.
Thanks for the replies, i thought that would be the situation.
Vicky if you decide to book through Travel Republic use the code GETSOMESUN for a discount.
Oh thanks for that!
THey don't seem to show Eden for the time I want to travel (late November early December)
Maybe the allocation isnt out for them yet , i would maybe ring Thomson and ask them.
However i did find them on http://www.somewheretostay.com and 14nights end of nov for a family of 4 was about £445 i think for the room.
They emailed me back about the kids club and confirmed it is only if the booking is through Thomsons that the club can be used......its not really clear on my confirmation who Travel republic have made the booking through as you dont get a voucher until you pay in full so i will have to wait and see but i spoke to my 7yr old about it and he wasnt over bothered.
I could also recommened the riosol we have stayed there a couple of times and it re opens about October after a re furb and you can book them direct.
