Hi all,
Off to Port des Torrent on sunday and our digital camera has just gone up the shoot (no pun intended!), when we went to tenefife there was loads of electrical shops is this the same in ibiza???
Are things any cheaper?, is there anything to watch for? Advantages/ Disadvantages to buying abroad,
We will only use it as a last resort but we are struggling to find one at such short notice.
Any advice would be great
Cheers
Theres bound to be some....but if theyre cheap - they will be!
what about duty free electrical shops at the airport,i know they have them at manchester.where are you flying from?mo p.s. we have been to ibiza 5 times now and i would say that the prices are fairly equivalent with england, certainly not much much cheaper.
I think that prices are much the same and everything that is branded with a well known name will have a worldwide guarantee. If you do buy anything here though make sure that the instructions are supplied in English as well as Spanish which is not always the case.
I too found very little difference in price on electrical goods (or any house hold goods for that matter) when I lived on Ibiza.
The Duty Free shops in the airports as mentioned are a good idea. However my advice is just to have a quick look at the high street prices before you visit those stores. I don't know about others on here, but I'm not always convienced that they don't put those prices up slightly because their duty free and you end up paying around the same just with the store taking all the profit.
If you have time to buy off the internet ebuyer is a good online shop.
