me+my partner [ judy ] had booked + paid for these rooms at the ELIF HOTEL a while ago,,through the holiday discount centre,,which is part of lowcost rooms ltd,for the 9-23/6/10,,as part of a diy holiday..
i was browsing icmeler online,and have been informed that the ELIF has been closed down,,well it has been re-furbished and re-named the CASA-BLANCA,,i am not sure if the same company owns it,or if it has been took over ???..
i have informed both the holiday discount centre [ by phone ],and the lowcostrooms,co,by e mail,,the holiday centre staff told me
we have not heard anything about this,,as far as we are concerned,you are STILL BOOKED in at the elif for the above dates..i told her it was ALL OVER the website that it had closed and re opened under another name,,but all she said then waswell even if it is closed,WE HAVE TO GIVE YOU A SIMILAR ROOM/HOTEL,,i boked the elif,because it is close [ if not on ] the beach,,i have not heard ANYTHING from lowcost rooms ltd..
what would you do,,i would really like to know where i stand on this,,as the flights/transfers/ect are ALL in place for the holiday..has anyone got any suggestions as to what our next move might be,as i am flummoxed,have never had a hotel dissapear on me before...
