Just booked up for 2 weeks in Malia next Sept - staying in the Emerald Studios. Got an absolute bargain so am starting to worry that something is wrong with the place - anybody stayed here recently?
Back in 2001 the Emerald studios were lovely - I repped there.
The family who ran it were very friendly, the rooms were spotless, the pool always clean.
It doesn't look like much from the road but once you get into the courtyard it is built around it is lovely.
Its on the main road, close enough to both th enightlife and the old town, but far enough away for them not to be a problem, and unless they have extended none of the rooms were on the road, thats where the owner lived, so all the rooms were set back away from traffic, and there was a bit of a view of the hills behind Malia from the pool as well.
