Es Cana isn't the best resort in Ibiza if you have a buggy. There are lots of narrow pavements to navigate and there is bit of a hill at one end of the village. There is a nice walk round the headland at the Hotel Miami end of the beach but to do the full circuit you will come to the beach at the side of the Miama, you could always turn back at this point and go the same you have come.If you walk on the road towards the Miami/Coral playa and go as far as you can you will come to the walk. There is a lovely beach at Cala Nova,to get here with a buggy just head toward the Cala Nova hotel.Another walk could be to Calla Martina beach, just follow the road round the bend near the harbour/jetty and you will come to the beach. From this beach its possible to walk along the coastal path all the way to Santa Eulalia but this will not be possible with a buggy.

There are boat trips to Santa Eulalia were you have a lovely long prom to walk along. Also Ibiza Town and Calla LLonga.

Buses run every half hour to Santa Eulalia from the fountain/square

There are loads of bars that are family friendly just find one that suits your needs.

I have stayed at the Caribe for the last 3 years and love it.The best thing is the huge sun terrace and the hundreds of sunbeds.Although some do the 8 o clock run for beds there are always beds available throughout the day.

Es Cana is an ideal resort for your party and has something for everyone.

Rosie you will love Es Cana, if your kids like mimi golf there is one not far from the dodgems, it is down a dirt track road,it`s on the way to Cala nova. we went a few times last year, it has a great bar,if you like wine they serve it in large glasses.

Wayne is right about Es Cana not being the best for buggys but it is fantastic for families. As Wayne says head for Santa Eulalia the prom is great and at the end is a fantastic bar Mariners, lots for kids in here and quite upmarket for us adults, they do meals as well. We always call in and then we walk along the river at the side of it, it takes about 15 mins to Devils bridge, we take food for the ducks and Geese and the cats, our son loves to go here.

We have been on the mini train which is a plesant trip out, the day one is best as the night one only goes to Santa Eulalia, it only stops for 1 or 2 hours and we found it abit of a rush. There is another one in Santa Eulaia that goes from the town hall out into the countryside, not sure of times but we realy enjoyed it.
