My daughters inlaws and family have all booked for es cana in july and now she would like to join them, as she has an eight month old baby they have only just decided to go and are finding it hard to find a good but reasonable package, or diy, the cheapest flights are 485 if they did it themselves, and if you check the accom it works out more than the packages there main concern is the heat and all the accomodations do not seem to have air conditioning which surprised me for ibiza, any info would be appreciated

Every year is different but as a general guide the humidity rises sharply after the first two weeks of July.It then reduces after the first storms around the first or second week of September,John.
Try jet 2 from Leeds or Thomsons budget flights out of Robin Hood (Doncaster/Sheffield) Both available on line.

Hi all, We would like to hear from the forum members who are going to Es Cana around the fortnight following the 3rd July.perhaps maybe to all meet up at a decent bar one afternoonor evening to talk about the resorts or just have a good time. we look forward to hearing from you . Best regards Aly and Steve
Does anyone know if it has one?
There is one to the righthand side of the Marvent Take Away/Bakery. Next to the little newsagents. There are probably others too.
Thank you hun.
There is also one in the side of the building next to the Coral playa. The building has a car hire place at the front.
3 weeks to go for me too, FunkyLady.
Really Cleo?
Ditto, FunkyLady.
We are staying at the Mar Y Huerta!
I'll be the young blonde with the older man!
Enjoy your holiday hun!
I'll keep my eyes peeled FunkyLady.
Hi we stayed in Es Cana in 2002 and are going back in September. we spoke to some people there who said they are going to do a lot of work in Es cana. When we were last there they were building a small funfair for the kids. Can anyone tell me if there is anything else built there since then?
Thanks for all the suggestions for accomodation is there much to do for children in the evenings eg bouncey castles etc
I think it depends. These sort of things are pretty portable and so what is there one week may have moved on another. In the space behind the beach there is often a funfair but I think it does move around the island and you cannot guarentee it is there all season. However I have taken my young kids to Es cana and they have had a great time. It is a family friendly resort.
we have always been to es cana during spring bank holidays 28th may-9th june approx, and for the last 3 years there has been a funfair on the road up to the ereso, trampolines, rides ideal for the younger end.in 2003 there was also a brilliant area across from the bull bar on the way up to the hippy market, with kids rides etc,but it wasnt open 2004,2005 when we were there perhaps we were to early in the season.last year we stayed in santa eulalia, and we had to make a special trip to escana just for the fair. mo
Will arrange for next years holiday.
