Hi
We're going to Roda, Corfu at the end of May/beginning of June and I wondered what the evening temperatures were likely to be.
Will I need to take a cardigan or light jacket or will it be warm enough just for T-shirts?
Thanks
Polly
PLEASE see the thread on corfu weather above
we normally go to the greek islands in aug/sep and I always take a cardi just in case and it alwqays comes in handy for that flight back home.
We were in Sidari at the beginning of last June and walked into town most evenings in just shirt sleeves. The weather was not that great whie we were there.
Generally speaking ( its now harder to do that in these unpredictable days of global warming!) by the end of May you probably wont need a cardigan, ( you dont now!) However I would always recommend that you bring a pair of jeans and a sweater just in case you get a windy day which can lower temperatures at night. As said above, they are always useful for when you get back to the UK.
I have just got back from Corfu and in the evenings it can be chilly so i reccomend taking a cardigan.
Right now, at 10.30 am outside my office the temperature registers 31c. Very hot for the time of year, but not unbearable as the actual air temperature hasn't warmed up yet, so it is true as the sun goes down it cools down. The plus point is alo that it is comfortable for sleeping at night, and the sea is already warm, at 8 pm last night people were still swimming. I was eating by the sea and was in a T shirt. Later at night it is a good idea to have a jacket or cardigan with you as the breeze can be cool.
I'll take a light jacket with me.
Looking forward to going as it's been over 20 years since the last time we went to Corfu - Kavos was a sleepy fishing village back then!

If you are back before the 11th June could you post what the weather is like as we are going to Roda on the 11th and have never been to corfu before.
Thanks tom
I'm afraid you'll be out of luck, we fly home at 14:00 on the 11th - maybe we'll pass each other in the airport.
I keep looking at the weather on a number of websites, none of them seem to agree!
regards
Polly
