Thanks for your concern. I sure don't think you're being nosey, since I know you too well (sort of!).

Well regarding our visit in August I've vowed that I'm gonna crash out and spend lots of time watching the world go by and wandering the back streets of Sliema. That's what I'm thinking now but I bet when I get there I think things will turn out different!

I really haven't got anything planned but since I'm in Sliema and I consider that you to know this area really well, will you please give me a list of places and things to do in the Sliema area? I know that you are aware that I do know the area but I'm after anything I've missed!

Over the next few weeks I shall be looking at what I shall be doing otherwise. Can't wait to get back to this woderful Island and believe me I wish I was in the position to go and live out there like you are considering. Maybe I might be able to retire there some day but that is some years off yet!!!
