As the Euro rate is so bad at the moment, is there any benefit in taking Sterling and changing it there? Are there any places to change money in Kassiopi?
A friend of mine has just returned from Skiathos (don't know how prices compare there to Corfu) & said that they got a better rate (commission free too) changing money there rather than in the UK.
Thanks for any advice
As with most places it is always a better exchange rate if you exchange your money when abroad.
Take Sterling travellers cheques or if you have a Nationwide bank account use it commision free abroad at an ATM.
We found that one of the local tour agents called COSMIC, near the square on the main road was giving the best exchange rate, and commission free.
COSMIC also do very good excursions much cheaper than booking through your tour rep.
Have a great time in Kassiopi

Thanks Graham
Yes there are at least 2 as far as I can remember, again located near the village square at the supermarket.
Yes, I can confirm what Graham said about there being ATM's in the square. Hope you have a fab time. We did
