we book on sea front for all in boat trip for 8pound adult and 4 for children it is a really good day you find if you book where boats are moored you get better deal as you are dealing with them and not a tour operator
We also book on the sea front, you can chose the boat you like the best that way.Booked as an excursion a couple of years back, and got a real tatty boat,so we dont do that now.We went on Sunshine boat twice last year, payed £10 each for all inc with lunch,no complaints, there is also Mega Diana £12 but inc a breakfast as well.
Pay no more than £10 per person for an all inclusive Boat trip, Just go down to the Harbour and banter with the many sellers of these trips, They will collect you from your accomadation and transfer you back also.
ok thanks,do you think we will have to pa y adult price for the 16 year olds?
We paid adult for our 14 year old so for 16 I would say yes, although if they look young they would never know, they dont ask for I.D...Remember Rodney Trotter and the Groovy Gang!!! anythings possible, having said that its not expensive to start with and I do prefer to remain honest to myself.
we booked down on the harbour picked our boat that we liked the look of and they came to pick us up.
they said there was enough room for a sun bed each which was not true we had to stay below deck cos there was no room on upper deck your not aloud to stand at the front of the boat cos they cant see to steer the boat.
upper deck was full of turkish people and dutch/german.
we all got off the boat for a swim stop we went back before everyone else and got a couple of beds that didnt have towels left on them, this caused an almighty row there had been turkish people on them before and we all ended up arguing my point was we had paid the same money and had to spend the whole day below deck as the captain said we had to travel all the way back in the same seat that we travelled there in. we were furious. but lesson learnt,
i would make my own way in the future to make sure we got there earlier than time state to ensure we got a sunbed.
that was not a dig at turkish people by the way but it was a total waste of a days holiday for us, it was very hot below deck and we had to suffer the smell of the food cooking all morning.
cheers all
pam xx
Thats good advice pammie,we always go down about 9.15 before they bring people on the minibuses, although they dont sail until about 10.30,but we pick our beds on deck put our towels on,then sit down below, last year the captain even gave us bottles of water before we sailed.
ok thanks will take that in mind.if anyone can name a good boat to go on or where to get it would be grateful,we are staying in the armatulan area
