excursions in Marmaris

hello we are taking a 2 week holiday in Marmaris in Oct this year , first week on a Gulet second at green nature resort and spa, our question is does anybody have any ideas of the excursions available in the area , we took a unimog safari in Side last and it was great fun , so we were wondering if this region had similar things to do
there are boat trips and jeep safaris but i guess after a week on a gulet you wont feel like a boat trip.The best thing to do is get a dolmus to marmaris otogar and jump on a bus to datca,selimye,akkyaka or dalyan,or the water taxi/dolmus to icmeler or turunc its all really cheap frequent and easy good luck
