I've left this a bit late so may not receive any replies in time but worth a try!
I'm going to Sunny Beach on Monday for 1 week with some friends (already been on my main holiday with the missus this year, this is just an extra little break) and, yes, I've heard it's going to be dead and yes, I've seen the weather reports. I actually wanted to go to Kos but one of the guys coming said he wouldn't go to Kos (without giving a reason?!) so we chose Bulgaria instead.
I digress. Traditionally we take a fancy dress outfit to wear out on the second night (when we sort of know are way around) but loads of people have been telling me "you could get arrested". We're by no means a rowdy bunch (typical middle-class office workers) and I know there are loads of horror stories about Sunny Beach but I'm aware that these things can happen at any popular tourist resort so I don't read into it too much. I personally think that people are just being silly but it would be good to hear the opinion of someone with some actual knowledge!
However, the fancy dress costumes are kind of weird... (see morphsuits.com)
So... will we be OK or should we give them a miss? As hilarious as 6 people running away from police in those outfits might sound, I don't fancy it
