Ive booked a number of flights to ibiza next year as part of my annual pilgrimage, Im planning on staying for one of my trips in ibiza town (within walking distance to Dalt Vila) and was looking at hotels in either Figueratas or Talamanca.
Has anyone stayed in either of these areas and can recommend any hotels which are beach front location and close to the centre of the town.
Figueratas seems closer but Im not sure as ive never stayed in either of these locations although visited ibiza town on countless occasions
cheers for any advice
You cant really go to far wrong with Figuerettes for a holiday location as its got an amazing beach (the longest on the island), a lot of shops and supermarkets for if you are going self catering, and a great deal of night life, and best of all is only a 15 miniute walk from Evissa or Ibiza Old Town!
Figurettes is also around 15 minutes from Platja d'en Bossa which also as some great shops, supermarkets and bars and one of the best clubs on the island Space!
Talamanca is a nice place too but doesnt seem to have as much to offer and like Figurettes is around a 15-20 miniute walk to the Old Town. Make sure though that if you do stay in Talamanca that you get some water in the resort before walking to town as there are very few shops on the way, whereas Figurettes has lots dotted around from the town to the capital itself.
Hope this helps, if you need any more info just ask.

we found figurettes to be dull the beach isnt nice there are a few bars dirty and scruffy yes theres shops but everywhere has shops we took a stroll to playa den bossa which had everything there but had to get a taxi back
with respect I dont think the beach in Figs (cant spell it )is the longest on the island. That belongs to Playa Den Bossa.
wayne zab your right pdb is the lonest beach,,from fig it breaks up near es vive, you just have to follow the road past playa sol 1 & 2 miro mola.after you leave prom to get back on to the beach.just where you get the ferry boats from.
