We stayed in Methoni where a visit to the castle is a must. Further up the coast there is a wonderful beach called Voidakillia (dodgy spelling), unfortunatly on the day we visited it rained.

had a weeks satay in Chrani last September and visited Finikounda for the day.....we nearly tried to book a room for the night it was so lovely. Would definitely stay there for a hols next time we visit the pelponese.

We loved the place, hired a car and toured round a bit. My trip report and the link to my photos are about half way down page 3 of this thread.

Have a look at my web site. I live in Fini, and I've written the site up for family and friends who visit. Lots of stuff on where to go and what to see. It should answer most of your queries, but it's not much help for finding accommodation!
