If you do a search for Finikounda, you will find several threads including the one below, which includes my report from May this year, mid way down the 3rd page. We stayed in Kosmar's Sonia studios, which were lovely - I definately reccomend the resort.

Hello - my husband and I made our second visit to this lovely resort in May this year. It is definitely getting busier with properties being built on the outskirts of the village, but it still remains an unspoilt corner of Greece. There is a main road with shops and bars on either side but I use the phrase main road loosely as it would be diffuclt for 2 cars to pass! The people are really friendly and although we stayed at The Finikounda Hotel all the apartments we saw looked nice. If I am not mistaken I think the Korakis Apt are on the front facing the sea. There are three beaches to explore, lovely tavernas and restaurants. This however is definitely not the place to be if you like disco's and nightclubs ! Say "Hello" to Costas (newsagent) for us. If going with Kosmar say "Hi" to Wendy & Gordon -probably the best reps ever !
